He's moving...

In the past week or so we started noticing Logan has been moving around. We lay him down on his back then he rolls to his tummy then...well we don't know exactly what happens next. But he ends up in a totally different spot and going a completely different direction then he is placed in. He has been pushing his little booty up in the air quite a bit lately so I guess he might be scooting himself around. But it sure doesn't seem like he should be old enough to do that yet.

Well...

I know it's been awhile since my last blog but without internet it's been a little hard to keep up. I'm hoping that changes very soon because I'm going a little crazy without it. It's sad when you rely on something so much. Anyway just wanted to let you all know why you hadn't heard from me in awhile. Hope everyone has a very Merry CHRISTmas!!

Oh Case...

Just wanted to tell you all a funny story...something cute that Case Eli did tonight. While Case was in the bath tub he started singing and talking. I quickly realized everything he saying was stuff he has heard on television. (I know it could be scary!)

First he started singing "Jitterbug, Jitterbug" which (some of you might know) is a commercial for a cell phone. Then he stopped and said "the ann ditt ditt show and don knott". Just in case you can't quite figure that one out he was saying THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW AND DON KNOTTS. Case loves the Andy Griffith show, for which I am very thankful because it's good ole' fashn' quality TV.

I did manage to get him on camera so everyone could hear how cute it was. I hope you can hear him. (this is a video after he said it the first time but it's still pretty darn cute)

AHOY Matey!!

Here are a couple of pictures of our lil' pirates...
Hmmm...who should I make walk the plank today?

Quiet or I'll get you...POW, POW, POW!!

This is how Case plays pirates...He thinks his sword is a gun. These two might not be the best pirates around but they sure are the cutest.

Wooowwww...How time flies.

It is hard to believe how quickly time passes. Logan is 4 months old today but it feels like yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. He has grown so fast. Now talking, laughing and rolling over too. He truly is an amazing boy. GOD has blessed us greatly with two healthy and wonderful boys. We are so THANKFUL for them.
Here are some pictures of Logan from his first 4 months.

Proud Papa & Mama Anderson

It's great to be home.

Is that a proud BIG brother or what?

What sweet boys.

Just hanging out (more like letting it all hang out)

Don't you just want to squeeze him?

He puts up with a lot from his big brother but he sure loves him.

He's one cool DUDE.

Happy Birthday Logan Joel!!

Persistance Pays Off...

All this week Logan has tried so hard to roll over and we've tried so hard to teach him. Well all of our persistance has paid off and today Logan rolled over. 3 times to be exact. We are so proud of him!!!

(This is really not the best video but it's the best one I could get so far,)

He got a little mad because I kept making him start over so I could get it on camera.

Just taking a break.

Help is on the Way!

Logan is getting so big and learning new stuff everyday. His next feat is rolling over and he's getting so close to conquering it too. Today it was so sad because he was so frustrated with the whole thing. His whole body would be rolled over except for his head and shoulders because his darn arm was in the way.

Case being the best big brother ever decided he wanted to help. First he tried showing him how it's done. He would say, "wat me Wowaa" (that's how he says Logan by the way). Then he would roll all over the living room floor. When that didn't work he resorted to just pushing him over. And when Logan still couldn't do it on his own Case would say, "nie try Wowaa" and give him hugs and kisses.
So I guess we will try again tomorrow. And I know with Case's support it won't be long and Logan will be rolling over all on his own.

Here's Case giving Logan a "pep talk".

Teaching and Learning is Exhausting!!!

L.L.L.-Logan Learns to Laugh...

Logan actually learned to laugh early last week but we where just now able to capture it on camera. Logan is a little camera shy. He can be doing something so cute and as soon as he spots the camera...he's done. I'm still not sure how we managed this video. If you notice he glances over at the camera a few times but I guess I kept him entertained enough.

So turn up the sound and listen very carefully. Here's our boy...

Isn't he sooo cute???

What's cookin' with Case...

About 3 weeks ago I decided to make chili for supper, Case being the sweet and helpful little stinker that he is, decided he wanted to help mommy.
He actually did really well until the very end. Here's how "Cookin' with Case" went...

Case was so proud of himself for "making" the chili. When Luke got home he ran to him and said, "dad I make chili".

Brotherly L..O..V..E..

This is true LOVE. Case style.

When we first found out Logan was on the way we were so worried about Case and how he would react. We worried he would be jealous of his new little brother. But from the first moment Case saw Logan it was true LOVE. He immediately wanted to hold him and kiss him.

3 months later still true. There are literally times we have to pull Case off of Logan. But that's okay. Logan is used to it now. In fact you can actually see a change come over Logan's face when he hears BIG brother coming. It's no longer a look of fear like it might have been in the beginning. No now it's a look of complete concentration almost as though he is bracing himself for what is about to happen.

Uh huh. Can you see it?

In the end...what could be better than a little love between two brothers???

Blogging is in...

Well I decided to jump on the band wagon and give this blogging thing a try. Apparently blogging is the latest "it" thing. Everyone is doing it and you know the saying, if so and so were to jump off a cliff...well I guess I will too. I've been told that I don't send enough pictures or keep "people" updated enough on my family (and by people I mean you, Jeremy). So hopefully I will be able to make everyone happy (including myself) with this blog. Afterall everyone needs somewhere to blow off steam or a place to brag about their children. Right???
